Izek Shomof and the Shomof Group intend to bring over 5,000 homeless Angelenos off the streets and into the Life Rebuilding Center. The Life Rebuilding Center is NOT a shelter but a place for people to regain their entity. The LRC will be more than just walls and a roof over these people’s heads but a place to grow, learn and overcome.

The Life Rebuilding Center will not only have medical services, hair salons, meals, and mental health help but job training, career guidance, and most importantly a community of people supporting one another. We understand that it takes more than a building to end homelessness. We can't and won't expect someone to sleep inside for 2 months and magically be ready to support themselves again. The solution to homelessness is not providing people with a home, but providing people with a future of independence. We will not set these strong and capable people up for failure but give them what they need to succeed. We intend to improve the quality of life for these homeless Angelenos and with doing so improve the quality of life for all Angelenos.
